Tammy K. Foster "I do what I love, and I love what I do." Fostering growth and development for youth is my calling. Teaching and mentoring athletes is my passion, and leadership is my strength. Along with these skills and the 12 year tutorials from my late husband, Level III Certified Doctorate in track and field; I lead and manage Alpha Omega Elite Track Team, and all its entities; staff, athletes, supporters, family, education, physical rehabilitation, and mental comprehensiveness with integrity and the highest level of respect, and commitment to excellence."
Tina King It takes dedication, determination, time, energy and patience to be the best at what we do, impacting young children's lives through fitness is extremely powerful experience. I now understand after a few years of experience working directly in the field just how much we as coaches can assist in the process of a youth athletes' life, and i am so grateful and humbled to be in this position, to keep my late brother -in -law, Arthur, dream alive to create successful young men and women student-athletes, so that they may set a positive example for the next generations. R.I.P. Art!
Isabel Betancourt I’m currently a sophomore in Florida International University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. I graduated in 2010 from Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, where I participated in Track and Field as a Triple/Long Jumper and a Sprinter. My senior year I had the great opportunity of being coached by Tammy Foster, which led me to quickly join the Alpha Omega Track Team. I’ve had the pleasure and the honor of being part of the team for over a year now, and I have experienced and learned more than I could have ever hoped for: both as an athlete and as a coach. Our team members, both coaches and athletes alike, bring forth a unique knowledge and commitment that motivates me to continue learning in this highly successful program. This is the kind of environment where I wish to learn and gain the skills that I will later incorporate in my health-oriented professional practice. I hope to continue working with this team to achieve my goals and help other athletes achieve theirs! Daryl Morrison Commitment to Excellence is more than a personal philosophy. It is an approach that I have taken with each athlete I have the opportunity to work with, from the beginner to the elite athlete. It is my commitment to them that I will work just as hard as they do to promote their personal development. As a team member participating in an individualized sport, the experience and personal development is priceless. With more than 30 years of running experience, I take pride in every life I touch and the beauty of watching athletes in motion. I welcome you to the Alpha Family. Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation with a minor in Recreational Therapy Ramon Rojas I was born in Havana, Cuba in November 1969 and started running when I was 10 years old. I competed in multiple events during this time and participated in several regional and national meets, but the most relevant results came from 1985-1988 when I reached my best records before a storm of injuries that ended my career in 1990. Corina Velazco Corina Velazco has been in the sport of Track and Field since the fourth grade. After 7 years of learning through this challenging sport Corina has decided to take it to another level, coaching. She has helped in helping Cross Country middle school programs for two year. Her main events are long jump and triple jump and she also runs the 400m. She represents her school, Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, and also Alpha Omega Elite Track Team. She has competed on a National level for 5 years. She is looking forward to take an important position in coaching this year. Maya Balfour Maya Balfour and I have been passionate about running for as long as I can remember. Running has been a fixture in my life for eleven years. For eight years I ran competitively for Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School in Cross Country and Track and Field. I currently attend Our Lady of Lourdes Academy where I am a senior and have competed in Track and Field for the past three years. Running has truly taught me the fundamentals of staying mentally and physically healthy. To me, running is definitely a lifestyle in which the harder you work the better results you get in the end. I plan to live this lifestyle for as long as my body wills me. Christian De Quesada I am currently a student athlete at Christopher Columbus High school. This sport has grown onto me like no other. I have always said to myself," I live to run, and I run to live." I have now been running for about 4 years pursing one of my biggest goals, a state title at the high school level. Being my last year, my last shot at a state title I am working hard to make my dream come true, and becoming closer to accomplishing my biggest goal. As a part of the coaching staff at Alpha Omega Elite Track Team my goal is to pass on my skills and knowledge about this sport to a younger group of kids who are willing to not only become a better athlete but to grow as individuals.
